Management

Maurice Baker, Managing Director

Captain Maurice Baker was educated at Glasgow Nautical College and holds a Master Mariner Certificate of Competency. He sailed on different types of vessels and held different senior positions within the ship management industry. Maurice joined the group in September 2019 and is responsible for the successful running of the company’s ship management division in Cyprus. He is a strong advocate of operational excellence and he strives to achieve this.

Adonis Violaris, Marketing Director

Adonis Violaris holds an MBA in Business Administration from Freie Universität in Berlin. He joined Interorient Shipmanagement in April 2015 as Marketing Director. Adonis is responsible for establishing and implementing Interorient Shipmanagement's marketing and public relations strategies and for overseeing all activities relevant to developing and maximising the company's image, presence and market knowledge.
