Maurice Baker appointed Managing Director, Interorient Shipmanagement

Interorient Shipmanagement is delighted to announce the appointment of Captain Maurice Baker as its new Managing Director.

Maurice has joined the company following a long and accomplished career in shipping.

He was educated at Glasgow Nautical College and sailed to the position of Master on a variety of vessels. He has held several senior positions: Group Commercial Director, Group Marine and Operations Director and Group Managing Director, as well as being a member of the Executive Board in his previous two companies.

Maurice is an ex member of the Intertanko Executive Board and he is presently a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

He brings with him a wealth of experience in ship management.
